Double Strike is a melee attack that performs two fast attacks on a target enemy with the player's melee weapon(s). It deals bonus physical damage against bleeding enemies. This attack hits twice, activating gain on hit twice, and giving two opportunities to activate chance-based effects such as blind, knockback, stun, and elemental status ailments. It does not, however, have two chances to crit. If one hit is a crit, the other will also be a crit. In addition, Double Strike is the starting skill gem for Duelist. It drops after killing the first monster of the game, Hungry Corpse.
